This morning was highly successful with having three meeting in a row at uni. The first meeting was with a library liaison officer and a disability advisor, to go through some of the library service available to me to use. The library liaison officer also gave me tips on using the library’s databases to hone my research skills.
As I ended my previous post, I said with prayer I was hoping to find a suitable person to be a support worker for my University work. Well, the second meeting was to meet a possible candidate for the position. I was thinking it was going to take some time to find someone. However, the guy who I met was great. No matter what question or concern I threw at him, he answered them correctly. So, we agreed to have a four week trial. I am looking forward to starting working with him.
My last meeting for the morning was with my supervisor, where we discussed the previous two meetings, direction of my research and methods to define my research question for doing a systematic literature review, which will further assist me develop my research proposal.
So, all in all, a highly productive morning indeed. Feeling good.
