Christmas, New Year, birthday, changing over to a new university and, now, WomAdelaide are all behind us. I am ready to knuckle down and get stuck into this PhD. The past few months while getting out socialising and seeing some excellent shows around town, I also have steadily been working on my literature review and researching on how to undertake such research. I feel my confidence and ability to do a PhD has grown. I feel a sense of ownership of the project and I have also realised that I have to lead my supervisors as much as they have to guide me. The project is still young and it is going to be exciting.
