What do Feeling Flat, CP, OT Students and Librarians have in common?
Who know!
However, feeling a bit flat and tired these few days. I think it might have something to do with doing four three hour workshops over four days last week with UniSA OT students. It a job I am invited to do each year. The students are third year Occupational Therapy students and the workshop is mostly geared around AAC with a spice of Cerebral Palsy. Each time I co-present the workshop I always learn something new about CP and this time was no different. As I had expressed my interest in some-day leading the workshops by myself, my co-presenter gave me the opportunity to lead a part of the sessions while he slipped away for some time. This was a great confidence booster. With my continued working on my systematic literature review and the work last week I am feeling it.
A few weeks ago I was fortunate to be put in touch with a Flinders librarian who is highly skilled in doing systematic literature reviews at time when I needed some guidance. My supervisor and I met with the librarian last week to go over my progress. The librarian was very useful in giving me hints in how to improve and I am looking forward to working with her more as I develop the systematic literature review over the coming weeks.
