For I know the plans I have for you…
January is coming to an end and the calendar is becoming dotted again with appointments and commitments. Have I really rested for this coming year? I don’t think so! I was hoping that after graduating from my undergraduate degree things could start to slow down a bit. This year is shaping up to be even more challenging with starting a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) and being involve with two boards of directors.
Late last year I was roped into joining another board of a not-for-profit agency, which I have been on before. I’m thinking that I’ll have to be very strategic in my involvement by maximizing the benefit that I can give to the board while minimizing my efforts
There was a time when I would worry if I could achieve things that I commit to, but with experience I know that God prepares my tasks. This month I have been remembered on a number of occasions the great verse in the bible, Jeremiah 29:11-12 (New International Version) 11 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.
