Help Darryl rock’n’roll to Barcelona to attend the international ISAAC conference, July 2010

Darryl Sellwood is researching ways to improve access to telecommunications for people with communication impairment as part of his Honours studies at UniSA. His aim is to improve opportunities for people with disabilities to connect with friends and family and the world around them.

As a person with Cerebral Palsy who uses a communication device, Darryl understands many of the challenges people face in accessing telecommunications. As a computer science graduate with experience in the telecommunications field, he has a broad perspective on both user and technical issues.

Attending the ISAAC International Conference will provide Darryl with an invaluable opportunity to learn and build on his knowledge as well as to meet and network with like-minded people, sharing ideas and exploring future collaborative possibilities. The proceeds from the night will go towards airfares, accommodation and travel expenses for Darryl and a carer to assist him.
