Things are taking shape
Just got back from a great meeting regarding doing a PhD. Things are starting to take shape, both for the actual topic and the administrative support required to undertake the PhD. This was the second meeting that we have had and the types of subjects we covered were scholarships, application processes, identifying possible co-supervisors or associated supervisors, the need for support teams and the topic that I would like to cover in my research. This time we met at the Hawke Research Institute, which is a part of UniSA and located quite near where I live. It seems that I will be able use the Institute as an a place for meetings which will make things so much easier as it is only a five minute drive in my wheelchair from my place.
Although I know that there is a lot of hard but interesting work ahead of me for the next four years, I am feeling very positive about it all.
a wish taking shape of reality, Darryl! good luck…. because talent and brains you already have!
best, nadia
